Flipping out for the 2017 Hyundai Elantra

The 2017 Hyundai Elantra Launch Campaign couldn’t last forever. So, we ended it with content that only lasted 24 hours.

Idea

To end the campaign, I came up with the idea to turn Snapchat and Instagram Stories into an interactive “flipbook”, where our audience would advanced through an animation by tapping on the screen.

Influence

We hired Snapchat artist / influencer GeeOhSnap to create a frame-by-frame animation that imagined the 2016 Elantra driving through a world drawn in Snapchat. Then, to go out with a bang, we encouraged our fans to tap that app.

 

Flattery

Other car brands followed suit. Whaaaaat a coincidence.
